I painted this while volunteering at Sanctuary Art Center. It was a quiet day and everyone’s energy seemed turned inward while working on their art. One of the youth commented on my work, saying ” This looks like a princess staircase, as if from a fairytale”. Another person asked me ” What’s beyond the doorway?”. I think that is best answered by the viewers imagination, don’t you?
