To enter the healing and adventurous space of creative work can be a daunting endeavor and also most rewarding . When beginning a new work I have an idea or , sometimes , a sense of direction for the particular painting rather than concrete details in mind . It is an exploration in color , patterns and emotions ,intellect and spirit . It is an invitation to bring forward what is loved and what is broken and to create a dance between the two . The intention is usually joy as well as healing . It is a journey , step by step , into the mystery and the palpable spaces of healing and celebrating .
