This past week I’ve experienced the joy of working on a community art project . It has been a privilege to work alongside some of the homeless youth, community leaders and fellow artists. We are painting a mural that depicts the farmer’s market in the university district of Seattle.
Today was especially fun. We took the panels outside to the location where it will be installed and invited interested passersby to join in the effort. It was a wonderful way to get the community involved and cross social and economic bridges.
